Oslo

We were in Oslo last weekend, walking through the entire city.  We stopped in the old part of town to see a fort at the head of the fjord.  It was there to protect against invaders.  Story is that Nazis were sailing into Oslo expecting to peacefully take over the city.  Most Norwegians were ready to let that happen.  But one guy, apparently almost single-handedly, shot cannons from the fort and sank the firs Nazi ship, sending the others away - temporarily, of course.  Anyway, this pic was taken at the fort.
